Description

Visit Nepal & Take A Walk Up The Himalayas Of Nepal

Embark on an enchanting journey starting from the serene city of Pokhara, where our exploration unfolds across river beds and terraced hillsides. Traverse trails that wind through vibrant rhododendron clusters and oak forests, leading to the picturesque village of Ghandrung, a cultural gem nestled in the heart of the Gurung community. As we proceed, the expedition takes us through the captivating Mardi Gorge, a narrow corridor that serves as the gateway to the sanctuary.

The sanctuary itself unveils a breathtaking mountain amphitheatre, framed by the majestic peaks of Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna I and III, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, and the iconic Machhapuchre. Our camp, strategically positioned at an elevation of approximately 14,000 feet, immerses us in the awe-inspiring grandeur of these natural surroundings.

Upon our return, we gracefully descend through the gorge, culminating in the crossing of the Deorali Pass. This vantage point offers a mesmerizing birds-eye view of the Kali Gandaki valley, adding a panoramic dimension to our expedition.

During a well-deserved rest day, typically planned for Ghorepani, an optional ascent to Poon Hill beckons. This short climb rewards adventurers with a sweeping panoramic vista of the entire western Himalaya, showcasing the majestic Dhaulagiri amongst other giants. Join us on this meticulously curated journey, where every step unveils the beauty of Nepal’s landscape, culture, and panoramic vistas, creating lasting memories of an unparalleled trekking experience.
