Day 1: Kathmandu (1400 m)
Namaste and welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal! Arrive at Kathmandu airport anytime then transfer to your accommodation with one of our representatives. After your refreshment we will hold a meeting for our trip details, if you are not sure about meeting location, please ask the friendly receptionist for this information. There are no pre-planned activities on this day, so feel free to explore the busy, historical city of Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Phakding ( 2652m)
Lukla–2827 m
Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla—45 minute
A walking hour from Lukla to Phakding— 3 to 4 hours
Early drive to the domestic airport to board a tiny place for a quick journey from Kathmandu to Lukla. This 45-minute short journey caters the panorama of the peaks of Langtang, Rowling and Annapurna Himalayan range. Experience a thrilling adventure landing at Tenzing Hillary Airport at Lukla. Meet your English speaking local guides and assistance for your memorable trip. After all arrangement, we will descend 200m downhill to Thado Koshi Koshi River, crossing suspension bridge where you will join the main trail to Namche Bazaar which is located just above the Chaurikhanka (27113m). From the bridge, the view of Mt. Kusum Kanguru looming dramatically to the east is wonderful. The trek begins to gain altitude gradually from a Buddhist village Ghat (2550 m) beyond the bridge. The walk is easy and it’s only a short walk to Phakding after passing through the small village of Ghat (2550 m).

Day 3: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446 m)
Walking hour: 6 to 7 hours
Today you will hike around 6 to 7 hours from Phakding to Namche Bazaar. While we hike to Namche, we will cross the winding Dudh Koshi river 5 times on thrilling suspension bridge through the forested trail towards Tak Tak, then reach Benkar. Now look way up above 6000 meters to see the peaks of snowcapped Kusum Kanguru (6369 m) and Thamserku (6623m). Continue walking then reach at Monjo (2835 m) and have a nice break for lunch. Now, your the walk starts a little tougher, with a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar. It’s a time to enter Sagarmatha National Park, cross the river through Jorsale Village (2805m) then continue walking. While continuing walking upstream you will cross another spectacular suspension bridge and begin the ascent to Namche Bazaar, the economic hub of the region, also the gateway to Mt. Everest

Day 4: Namche Bazaar ( 3446 m)
Today you will stay one more day to Namche Bazaar to acclimatize properly to the altitude and it is very important while embarking on the high altitude. This day we will hike high altitude then come back down to sleep. You will trek to Synboche airport (3700m) towards Everest View hotel (3880m) and enjoy viewing Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Tawache. While returning back to visit Sherpa cultural museum, Everest photo gallery and the local market Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is the economic and tourist hub at the Khumbu region with plenty of shopping and day hiking experience.

Day 5: Namche to Dole (4038m)
walking hour–5 hours
It is time to hike again. We will follow the gradual trail with few short ups and down through Rhododendron forests overtaking magnificent view of great giant snow peaks of Shanasa. This trek is beautiful especially in spring, the time Rhododendron flowers are blooming. Continue hiking, arrive on top of Mongla Pass (3970m) and the view of Mt. Ama Dablam, Kentega, and Mt. Khumbila is magnificent. The trail winds around through the forested region brings us to the riverside village, Phortse Tenge (3560m). About an hour walk from Phortse bridge, you will get your first view of the mammoth peak of Cho Oyu (8153m) at the head of the valley. The trail passes many Kharkas summer settlements used when Shepra bring herds of Yak to graze in these high pastures. The route passes through the settlement of Tongba (4015m) and Gyele (4050) to Dole, It is high altitude village in the Everest region. It is a short distance to Dole from now, where you will sleep a night.

Day 6: Dole to Machhermo (4465 m)
Walking: 4 to 5 hours
Today you will walk around 4 to 5 hours from Dole to Machhermo. Though the walk is the easy bit you will start to feel the effects of altitude even on the smallest hills. The trail follows towards Labara (4220 m) and Luza (4360 m), steep in most places as the climb passes through an open hill, brush junipers and brings the spectacular view of Mt. Cho Oyu. The trail continues to climb the side of the valley, high above the river, crossing sandy spurs to reach Machhermo (4410 m). You will reach Machhermo in the afternoon before sunset.

Day 7: Machhermo to Gokyo (4720 m)
Walking time: 3 to 4 hours
Today you will hike around 3 to 4 hours from Machhermo to Gokyo. A short, steep climb leads from the Machhermo valley on the steep grassy slopes of the Dudh Koshi valley. Keep an eye open for the colourful Tibetan snow cocks, often found in this area. We continue climbing the ridge and can be seen excellent view both down the valley to Khantega and northern part of the Cho Oyu (8153 m). Beyond the ridge, the valley widens as the trail passes through Pangka (4390 m) and on the jumbled moraines (glacier debris) of the Ngozumpa glacier, the source of the Dudh Koshi river. We move downwards short while then gradually trek up on the stone steps towards the river. We will cross the metal bridge over the river and arrive at the Gokyo Land.

Day 8: Gokyo-Gokyo Ri (5360 m)
Walking hour: 4 Hours Today you will hike early morning to Gokyo Ri that caters 360-degree panoramic view of Everest, Maha langur Himalayan range, Lhotse, Cho Oyu and Makalu. It takes approximately two hours to climb to the top of the peak. From this point, you can enjoy Nozumpa glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal.

Day 9: Gokyo to Dole ( 4038 m)
walking hour: 5 Hours
After a wonderful time in Gokyo Lake, We trek down slightly to Dole through the downhill train. Passing Machhermo (4465 m) and Luza (4360 m), we trek to Kele then arrive Dole. Way back to Dole savour the Dole valley towards Dudh Koshi.

Day 10: Dole to Namche ( 3446 m)
Walking hour: 5 hours
Take some time to enjoy your final opportunity in Dole before heading to Namche. We gradually trek down from Dole to Namche Bazaar via Khumjung. Following the same trail with big descend till Phortse Tanga then ascend to Mongla Dada then arrives at Namche.

Day 11: Namche to Lukla (2827 m)
Walking hours: 6 Hours Wake up early, have breakfast then enjoy your last opportunity visit in Namche Bazaar. From Namche, we will trek down to Monju via some metal bridges then arrive at Lukla. You will pass Phakding (2652 m) crossing metal bridges, continue walking then arrive at Lukla. you have done it, it is now time to rest, relax in Lukla.

Day 12: Lukla to Kathmandu
Flight Lukla to Kathmandu—45 minute
If the weather is happy, we will take the short 45-minute flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Once again glance through the aircraft window and enjoy the amazing view. Once landing at Kathmandu, return to your accommodation, relax and the rest of the Day is your own to enjoy.

Day 13: Kathmandu
Today is your departure day, according to your next plan schedule, you can departure at any time. We are still with you so feel free to talk to Anu Treks staff for further assistance as we will be so much happy to share our experiences and ideas. If you are not ready to leave and willing to stay in Nepal, Your CEO or tour leader help you with travel arrangement to extend your visas and adventure.
